ALL, THE WORK WE LOVE

Highlights from The Lift and our UK Collaborators

This month, we are exploring our deep, creative working ties with our friends in the UK.

Some of the best work in portfolio has come from collaborations with the likes of Rattling Stick, Smuggler London, Academy+, and Blink Productions, just to name a few. And while we value each and every project we’ve worked on, we’ve assembled some of the highlight for you to scroll through and play for your enjoyment.

To start things off on the right foot, we have our 2015 spot for Levi’s, directed by Sara Dunlop. “Beautiful Morning” presents a lively story in just over a minute that perfectly encapsulates youth culture in a global way, just like those Levi’s jeans we hope you’re sporting.

Or how about going a little musical? This video that we serviced for Academy + is beautifully complex, and directed by our own Martin de Thurah. A nice little throwback to 2012 for a modern blues-y track.

Back to the ads, have you seen “Morning” for Johnnie Walker? Directed by Joshua Neale for Smuggler London, Johnnie Walker continues its tradition of clever advertising through actual narratives, this time highlighting Latin America.

How often do we get to do a sequel? This one isn’t a direct sequel but “Trucks” for Cadbury with Blink and director Juan Cabral picked up where we left off with the team on the award-winning “Gorilla.” It was a challenging and fun shoot as you can probably imagine from watching the video above, and perfectly exemplifies the sometimes insane, usually delightful, and always memorable times working with the UK!
