Congratulations to our multi-talented director, Ian Pons Jewell, on his recent slew of nominations.

Let’s start with the UK MVAs, which were announced yesterday. Ian was nominated for Best Urban Video (International) for the Vince Staples “Señorita” video, as well as the coveted Best Director award. The awards ceremony will take place at the Roundhouse in London on November 15th.

Meanwhile, over at the Camerimage Awards, music video nominations were announced this week for which the “Señorita” video for Vince Staples is also nominated. 431 submissions from all over the world were considered, and Ian’s video is one of 20 to receive the nomination. Winners will be announced in Poland on November 21st as part of the closing ceremony of the Camerimage Festival.
