Jogging through Mexico with Bimbo

Get ready to grab some good eats and get running.

“Global Energy Race” marks the 70th anniversary and perfect inauguration for this year’s race, through 22 cities and 19 countries on September 27 (this Sunday for those of you marking your calendars).

Bimbo is one of the world’s leading baked good companies, headquartered right here in Mexico City. For this spot, they showcase the importance of waking up early and eating breakfast to kick off your routine, whether you are running a race, biking to start your day, or finding some other way to stay active.

The Global Energy Race, sponsored by Bimbo, sets their goal at “running towards a healthier lifestyle.” With races in Portugal, Argentina, Nicaragua, USA, Mexico and Spain, to name a few of the international participants, the event marks a transnational effort to promote healthy, active lifestyles.

Complete with the perfect Rolling Stones rendition of “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg,” and shot throughout Mexico with talented director Rog Souza and co-produced by Zola in Brazil, get a sneak peek at our behind-the-scenes captures below. And if you are interested in participating in the event this Sunday, check out the race’s website here.
