ALL, THE MEXICO WE LOVE, THE WORK WE LOVE

The Scattered Desks Of Production

For a second, we’re going to pretend that you are all with us at The Lift. You’ve collectively boarded a plane heading nonstop to The Lift HQ in Mexico City. Welcome!

Acknowledging that it isn’t easy for us all to break way from our desks, we thought we’d share a little of The Lift flavor by sharing the desktops of some of our hardest working compatriots.

Ihxel Pérez is our fearless Head of Production. In the chaos of production, she finds order (we know that generally goes the other way, but that’s why she’s good at what she does).

Filled with artwork on the walls and an impressive display of figurines to look over her while she’s crunching those numbers, Ihxel’s desk is all about character-amidst-minimal-clutter. Sit back, relax and enjoy a look at a little Mario and Luigi, an Australian koala, or a lotus blossom calendar. It’s all there.

“Inspiration comes from the sense of fulfillment I get when we see an idea come from its initial inception to something real, a whole production,” Ihxel tells us. “It’s turning imagination into a tangible thing and it amazes me every time, but it takes an incredible amount of focus. To remain totally focused all of the time, I have to feel comfortable in my environment. For me, that means keeping everything in perspective, and toys symbolize that to me. It’s the simplicity of joy and how vital it is to not take anything too seriously.”
